An Open Request for Prayer

Our sense of desperation for the adoption to be finalized has not waned. We cling tightly to God and His Word each step of the way. And, sometimes we feel our grip beginning to slip. That's when we reach out to friends who will take time to pray with us.

Many of you know the story. We began this adoption journey a little over two years ago. As most families who engage in this thing called adoption, it is uphill most of the way. In fact, I may go as far to say that it is simply an uphill journey. It's easy to get weary. So, I am writing to invite your prayer support.

Pray for three things to happen quickly:
1. Completion of legalization. We are apparently right on the cusp of this happening, but we haven't received the official stamp of approval...Pray this would happen within the week.
2. Passport. Once legalization is done, we will move to the passport phase. Pray this happens quickly.
3. VISA. The final step before travel documents will be VISA. While it could be a couple of months away, we are inviting you to pray our little girl through this process flawlessly and quickly. (Do you like those two adverbs? Yep. Specific prayers...flawlessly and quickly!)

We had our hopes set on her coming home to Texas by August, and now with this delay in legalization, we are not as hopeful...yet, we know God is bigger, greater, and stronger than any delays!

Thank you for taking time to read this and feel free to drop us a note if you are praying with us.

How can you not want to pray this little girl gets to come home to these boys?

Praying for your family. Holding on is hard sometimes but, hold on.
